Leads & Sales

Turn conversations into qualified leads. Sell Whisper AI captures contact information, scores leads automatically, routes them to the right sales rep, and syncs everything to your CRM.

Lead capture forms

Add a lead capture form to your agent that collects name, email, phone, and custom fields during the conversation. The form appears at the right moment — before or after the AI answers — based on your configuration.

Setting up a lead form

1

Go to Agent Settings → Lead Form

Select your agent and open the Lead Form section in Settings.

2

Choose fields to collect

Standard fields: first name, last name, email, phone. Add custom fields for company, role, or any other data you need.

3

Add hidden fields

Hidden fields pass metadata like the source page URL, campaign ID, or A/B test variant — without showing them to the customer.

4

Set when the form appears

Show the form before the conversation starts, after a set number of messages, or when specific keywords are detected.

5

Configure the default deal stage

New leads can be automatically placed in a specific pipeline stage (e.g. New, Contacted) when captured.

Lead scoring (0–100)

Every lead gets a score from 0 to 100, made of four parts. A few seconds after a lead is captured, Sell Whisper AI reads the conversation once and fills in what the visitor said about their role, company, budget, timeline and buying plans. Anything the visitor typed into the lead form always wins over what was read from the chat. The lead detail page shows how many points each part earned.

What the score is made of

Identity (up to 15 points): Email, name, phone and company provided
Fit (up to 25 points): Role, company size, industry and region, matched against your ideal customer profile when you set one
Intent (up to 40 points): How ready they are to buy, asks about pricing, a demo or purchasing, budget, timeline, products they named, plus your custom criteria
Engagement (up to 20 points): Messages sent, questions asked, a second conversation and how recently they wrote

With the default settings, a visitor who leaves their name, email and company and asks about pricing while comparing options over a few messages scores around 65. An email left on a short chat stays under 20.

A lead becomes Qualified the first time its score reaches your qualified threshold (60 by default). It stays Qualified if the score later drops. Change the weights, the threshold, your ideal customer profile and your custom criteria in Settings → Lead Scoring. Scores of leads with no recent activity drop a few points each week.

Lead pipeline

A lead's status is New, Qualified, Converted or Lost. Its pipeline stage tracks sales progress separately, so you can move a lead from Proposal to Negotiation without changing its status. New accounts start with these stages:

New— Lead just captured, not yet reviewed
Contacted— Sales rep has reached out
Qualified— Lead confirmed as a fit for your product
Proposal— Demo or proposal sent
Negotiation— In active discussion on pricing or terms
Closed Won— Deal signed
Closed Lost— Did not convert

Lead routing rules

Routing rules assign each new lead to the right sales rep. A lead is routed once, right after its conversation has been read and scored, so rules on intent, budget or industry see what the visitor said. Rules run from highest priority down, and the first matching rule wins. Rescoring a lead later never moves it to someone else.

Fields a rule can check

Lead score, Status, Source, Intent level, Budget, Timeline, Company size, Industry, Region, Role, UTM source, medium and campaign, Company, Any field your lead form collects.

Example routing rules

IF Lead score ≥ 70Assign to a senior account executive
IF Intent level = ready to buyAssign best available team member
IF Company size ≥ 500Assign to the enterprise rep
IF Region = EMEAAssign to the EMEA rep

Availability and capacity are hard limits. A rep who is away or already holds their maximum number of open leads is skipped. When no team member can take a lead, it stays Unassigned and shows that way in the leads list until you assign it.

Nurturing campaigns

Set up automated email sequences for leads that are not yet ready to buy. Campaigns run on a schedule you define and stop automatically when a lead converts.

Email sequences

Multi-step email drips with delays between each email (e.g. Day 1, Day 3, Day 7)

Segment-based targeting

Send different sequences to leads by score or pipeline stage
